Building software. Solving problems. Learning every day.
Hi, I’m Robin — a modern developer, AI-assisted builder, and lifelong learner who believes that every problem is an opportunity to create something better.
I’m currently pursuing my BCA in Computer Science and continuously exploring the world of software development. My journey involves learning programming, experimenting with new technologies, building practical applications, and turning my ideas into working software.
I don’t believe development is only about writing code. It’s about understanding problems, questioning existing solutions, and building tools that make everyday work easier, faster, and more efficient.
I’m a modern developer who embraces AI as a development partner and learning tool. I use AI to explore ideas, understand unfamiliar concepts, troubleshoot bugs, and accelerate development — while continuing to build my own programming knowledge and problem-solving skills.
For me, AI isn’t a replacement for learning. It’s another way to learn, experiment, and build things that might otherwise take much longer to develop.
My approach is simple:
Identify something frustrating, inefficient, or missing in existing software.
Explore why the problem happens and what a better solution should do.
Use programming, AI-assisted development, and experimentation to create practical software.
Test the result, fix issues, learn from mistakes, and make the software better.
Sometimes, the tools we already use don’t solve every problem the way we need them to. Instead of simply accepting those limitations, I look for opportunities to build something of my own.
For example, while working with code, I encountered a frustrating problem: finding the exact location of a particular line or piece of code could be difficult, especially when the editor’s search returned no useful result. Even though Visual Studio provides powerful search and navigation features, I found that my workflow still had cases where locating the code I needed was unnecessarily difficult. That experience inspired me to develop CodeLens — an attempt to make code navigation and locating relevant code more convenient for my workflow.
For me, this represents what software development is really about: identifying a real problem and turning it into an opportunity to create a solution. I want my projects to come from practical needs, not just from following tutorials or building applications that already exist.
I’m particularly interested in desktop applications, developer productivity tools, custom interfaces, and software that solves problems people encounter in their daily workflows.
I’m still learning, and that’s an important part of who I am as a developer. I experiment, make mistakes, investigate bugs, and try different approaches to understand how things work beneath the surface. I want to become a developer who understands not only how to make software work, but also why it works.
I value independent thinking, reusable components, open-source development, and the ability to turn an idea into a practical application. Every project teaches me something new. Every challenge gives me a reason to improve.
RobinLab is my space for experimentation, learning, and software creation. It’s where I bring ideas to life, explore technologies, develop useful applications, and share the things I build along the way.
My goal isn’t simply to create more software. It’s to create software that has a purpose — tools that solve real problems, improve workflows, and make technology more useful.
I’m Robin: a developer who learns by building, builds by solving problems, and keeps improving with every project. Welcome to RobinLab. 🚀
